Recruited to join a top-secret mission for the Air Force, a renegade pilot (Sheen) finds himself coping with an incompetent admiral (Bridges) and a carefully-selected squadron of flyers who are either inept or half-blind. He also winds up in competition with the corps' model of military perfection (Elwes) for the heart of the base's sultry psychiatrist (Golino). Luhr Jensen Hot Shots are self-planing, diving lures designed with a built-in deep-diving planning bill which makes it dive when pulled through the water - the faster they are pulled, the deeper they dive. These lures feature a compact body, high quality, 2X strong trebles, and quick, wide and aggressive action. Bartender 1 0 3 – organize your menubar apps. Hot Shots have become a staple of steelhead, trout and salmon anglers alike.
Hot Shot lures are primarily backtrolled for river steelhead and salmon. The smaller sizes are outstanding as trolling lures in lakes or drift-fished lures in streams for trout. For trout, fish them behind a lake troll or flat line them far behind the boat on lakes, cast them cross-current and allow them to swing through likely holding spots on rivers. 'Tune' each lure for maximum success by making small adjustments to the screw-eye line attachment (if the lure runs to one side, slightly rotate the top of the screw eye in the opposite direction). In any application, brace yourself for savage strikes.

Perfect plug for fast and/or shallow water. Always try to have at least one of these out. Almost no current is too fast for these. All the colors have hooked up, but the metallic green or pink are my top producers. When the river is a little dirtier than green, the Hot Shot 35s have rattles and produce equally as well.

This is the best backtrolling lure I have found yet. I have used hot-n-tots, wiggle warts and others but the Hot Shot outperforms 2:1 almost everytime. However, these lures are expensive and they hurt the budget when you loose a couple.

my favourite lure fullstop for kayak trolling. I can paddle up to 3knots and it handles any speed up to this no worries at all (possibly more) Flathead and whiting just cant resist it (even small whiting like 15cm)

I've been using the #30 Hot Shot lures for many years for steelhead in small to medium size rivers in Michigan. Its a great classic design and catches fish. There was been a trend however of cheapening the hardware on these lures over time. Frankly they are now sold with hardware, that is hooks, split rings and swivels, that will not hold up to the power of larger steelhead. Many of the lures come with those galvanized-looking hooks that break easily and lose their sharpness quickly. Most recently the swivels have been down-sized to a very wimpy size that I'm sure will not hold up. To add insult to injury, the price for these lures keeps rising to ridiculous levels. Brad's Wigglers offer a good alternative at a much lower price. I think I'm done with these lures once these wear out or are lost.

I use the #70 size in silver or perch when trolling for trout in small, inland lakes. My primary setup is a small wet fly behind a dodger, but when the sun is bright or the bite is otherwise off, the Hot Shot is a great way to mix things up and show the fish a different presentation. The #70 only has a 3-5' diving depth, but that's easily remedied with a little weight on a slider a couple feet in front of a dodger or 3-4' in front of the lure if fished by itself.

Hot shot loads are defined as freight that needs to be delivered fast and is small enough to fit in a box truck or on a removable gooseneck. These loads often come from industries like oil fields or construction because they need equipment to be moved fast so it can be used at another site.
Running hot shot loads can be an easier way to start a trucking operation because of the lower cost of equipment. You can use smaller vehicles with hot shot loads, which means you don't need to invest in a big rig. With the help of hot shot carrier load boards, you can find loads to kickstart and grow your business with ease.
Hot shot load boards like DAT make it easy to find small-truck loads. There are three main tactics for finding hot shot loads on the DAT board:
1. Post Your Truck: Enter detailed information about your truck to help brokers find you and to make sure you stand out to them.
2. General Equipment Search: Do a general search and choose 'partial' load and the equipment types and filters that fit your operation. This might find you more loads since brokers don't always label loads as 'hot shots' even if they can be hauled by on a hot shot trailer.
3. Specific Equipment Search: You can do a specific search entering 'flatbed hot shot' as the equipment type for both 'full' and 'partial' loads.
With all of these searches, you can favorite the search and set an alarm so that you're notified whenever a new load fitting the search criteria is added.
DAT provides the biggest hot shot load boards in trucking. With 623,000 new loads posted every business day, DAT's load board is the best place to find the hot shot loads that match your interests. DAT also lets you set alarms so you can make sure you're alerted as soon as a new load matching your search criteria is added. That means you can go about your life as usual knowing you won't miss any possible hot shot loads.
With DAT, you can see where trucks are in demand, which is where you are likely to have the most negotiating power. You can also see the average market rate on each lane you search in addition to being able to research business partners with the help of credit scores and company reviews.
Unlimited searching and posting on the biggest load marketplace anywhere means that DAT is the best place to find your hot shot loads.

Juice shots like ginger and wheatgrass are growing in popularity at many juice bars. There's a reason more and more people are taking them. Let's take a look at the benefits of these small volume but big nutrient drinks:
Wheatgrass is truly wonderful. Some say it's an acquired taste but I truly enjoy it (yes, something you'd expect a nutritionist to say!). Blue-Green Algae (often sold as E3 Live or Spirulina) is a popular tonic that boasts benefits like vitamins A, C, E, B12, B6, calcium, magnesium and iron. Some of this goodness is thanks to its cyanobacteria – that blue color signifies loads of antioxidants. But beware, consume in small amounts; too much can be toxic.
This plant is amazing. Besides helping heal wounds topically, drinking the juice of this desert plant may help benefit digestion. Try shooting back a few ounces of aloe on its own, diluted with filtered water, or add to your favorite smoothie like this Sand ‘N Sun Smoothie.
